William “Bill” Duane Coons 74 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 8, 2024 at his home. He was born August 15, 1949 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Charles Duane and Betty Mae (Carlson) Coons.
Bill loved his family, watching wester shows and INSP. He also enjoyed Big Foot and aliens. He was a talented welder until his retirement.
Preceding Bill in passing were his parents and son Donald William Coons. Survivors include his wife Shirley Coons of Glenwood, Iowa; granddaughter Wendy Perez and children Sophia Perez and her Dad Abraham Perez; Jaxsen Carmona and Dad Edward Carmona of Bellevue, Nebraska; extended relatives and friends.
Interment to be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
