Ronald “Red” Baucom was born January 17, 1940 in Green Hollow Thurman, Iowa to Cecil Alvin and Marjorie Ellen (Hillhouse) Baucom. He passed away October 1, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Red loved being outside, riding his bike every day picking up cans and fishing. He enjoyed traveling with his nephew Matthew and going out to eat.
Preceding Red in passing were his parents, brothers Leroy and Jerry “Jake”; sisters Rita and Jeanne. Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great niece and nephew and great-great nephews.
Interment to be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family.

Sorry to hear of Red’s passing, I used to fish with Red and his brother Leroy!! He was a character for sure!!, I’m sure he will be missed by his family !!
Sorry to hear the news. My grandmother Alberta (Hillhouse) Nelson grew up in Green Hollow.
