Patricia Glee Hatcher, 89 of Glenwood, Iowa formerly of Pacific Junction, Iowa passed away May 13, 2024 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was born June 11, 1934 in Lewis, Iowa to Darrell Edgar and Glenda Glee (Hummel) Perdue. Pat was employed as a caregiver at Park Place and Glen Haven for many years. While living in Pacific Junction she was on the Betterment Committee, Pacific Junction Rescue and remained active in the community until she relocated to Glenwood. She enjoyed camping with family and friends. Some of her other interests included crocheting, playing bingo and watching Gunsmoke episodes. Her most treasured time was spending time with her family.

Preceding Pat in passing were her parents, husband; brothers Bill Perdue and Richard Perdue. Survivors included her children Cindy Hatcher-Thompson and husband Craig of Trinity, Florida; Kathy Bacon and husband James of Glenwood, Iowa; Scott Hatcher of El Reno, Oklahoma;  granddaughters Heather Hatcher, Samantha Schmitt and Mollie Harrison; 7 great-grandchildren; extended relatives and friends.

Interment, Thurman Cemetery, Thurman, Iowa.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family.

    I worked with Pat back in the late 80’s at Hillside Manor. She was such a sweet lady and so kind. May she rest in peace.

    I am so sorry to hear about Patty. It hurts to know that our relatives that we grew up with are slowly departing our life. I grew up with Cindy and Kathy. I hope you all find comfort in remembering the love, laughter and great times you’ve had with her. Love to all, Lanette Hummel Flood
