Michael Thomas Homan, Jr., 36 of Council Bluffs, Iowa formerly of Glenwood, Iowa passed away August 20, 2021. He was born on June 2, 1985 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Michael attended school in Glenwood, Iowa until his Senior year. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 2003. Michael was employed as a CNA with Hillcrest Nursing Home in Bellevue and worked on the front line during COVID. He was a dedicated caregiver and was kind to everyone he knew. Michael always had the latest electronics and knew how to fix any problem with a computer or cell phone. Michael enjoyed going to movies, playing video games with his nieces, golfing with friends and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Michael in passing were his great-grandparents and grandfather Gerald Adams. Survivors include his mother Sandra (Adams) and her husband John Heffron; sister Tara and her husband Shawn Barrett; grandmother MaryAnn and her husband Larry Vrbka, all of Glenwood, Iowa; nieces, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Interment, Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.

I am sorry to hear this. We hadn’t seen each other since we were children, but I did think of him often, hoping he was doing well. Much love to everyone.
