Marvin Eugene Iles, 71, of Glenwood, Iowa passed away surrounded by his family on October 3, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska. Marvin was born June 15, 1952 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Dwight Leonard and Mae Yvonne (Richardson) Iles.
Marvin grew up in Plattsmouth, Nebraska where he graduated from high school and then went on to serve in the Marine Corps and later attended welding school. Marvin was a Resident Treatment Worker at the Glenwood Resource Center until his retirement. Marvin was united in marriage to Kristin Leutzinger on November 18, 1985 in Glenwood, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Jacob and Katie. Marvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Preceding Marvin in passing were his parents and brother Kelly Iles. Survivors include his wife Kris Iles of Glenwood, Iowa; son Jacob Iles of Clarinda, Iowa; daughter Katie Kovamees of Glenwood, Iowa; 6 grandchildren; brother Lonnie Iles of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; sisters Monica Kahl of Malvern, Iowa; Mary Gerhard of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
A Memorial Veterans Service was held at the VA surrounded by family after his passing.
Interment to be held at a later date.

So sorry to here about your loss of Marvin didn’t know him but sister Diane worked with him and she always spoke highly of him! I’m really close friends with Lonnie!!
