Marlene Sell, 90 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away January 19, 2024 in Glenwood.  She was born March 17, 1933 in Glenwood, Iowa to Paul Rudolph and Dorothy Alvina (Deitchler) Roenfeldt. She graduated from Glenwood High School. Marlene was united in marriage to Marlin Eugene Sell on February 14, 1952 in Mineola, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Charles and Cheryl. 

Marlene was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She had a passion for playing pitch, the piano and was a wonderful homemaker and cook. Her happiest times were spent gathering around the table with her family. Marlin and Marlene enjoyed many Heritage trips together. 

Preceding Marlene in passing were her parents, husband , brother-in-law Bill Wright and nephew Todd Wright. Survivors include her children Charles ( Myrna) Sell of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; Cheryl  (Mike) Stewart of Glenwood, Iowa; grandchildren; Travis Sell of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; Michelle Stewart (Ron) Sandusky of Baxter, Iowa; Christa (Trevor) Schirman of Sioux City, Iowa; Cassandra Evans of Shenandoah, Iowa; 2 step-great grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters Karen (Eldon) Smith and Eloise Wright of Glenwood, Iowa; 3 nieces, 1 nephew, extended relatives and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood, Iowa.
