James Lee “Bubba” Olson, 9 years old passed away surrounded by his family June 22, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born May 2, 2014 in Omaha, Nebraska to Jesse Lee and Connie Marie (Moore) Olson.
James lovingly known as “Bubba” was loved by many. He enjoyed music, being with his sister, friends, cousins, animals and superheroes.
Bubba was preceded in passing by his grandparents James and Leanne Moore. Survivors include his parents Jesse and Connie Olson of Glenwood, Iowa; brother Aaron Olson-Blue of Minnesota; sister Gabby; grandmother Jerri Olson of Glenwood, Iowa; aunt Susie and Brandon Taylor of Glenwood, Iowa; uncle Rob and Julie Parham of Texas; cousins Cabe and Chase Parham of Texas; Tatum Haffner of Colorado; Dalton and Drake Garrison of Council Bluffs, Iowa; great aunt Susan Wright of Florida; extended relatives and friends.
Interment: East Liberty Cemetery, rural Malvern, Iowa.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family to establish something special in James’ name.

My most heartfelt sympathy to James’ family, friends and caregivers. I had the privilege of knowing Bubs for far too brief a time, but in the time I was able to spend with him and his wonderful family, it was easy to see just how special and loved he was. I am sending love, light and peace to you all. I am so very sorry for your loss.
