Services: Thursday, January 13, 2022, 10:00 A.M., Peterson Mortuary, 212 S. Locust Street, Glenwood, Iowa.

Gary Richard Crouch, 51 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away January 8, 2022. He was born May 27, 1970 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Richard Kenneth and Barbara Ann (Curry) Crouch.

Gary had a passion for trains from the time he was a young boy. He also enjoyed animals, especially horses. Being around them calmed him as well as them. Gary loved spending time on the farm and jumping in the truck for rides with his Dad. He loved babies and small children and was very gentle with them. His family all loved the time they spent together and he will be in their hearts forever.

Preceding Gary in passing were his grandparents Howard and Genevieve (White) Curry and Kenneth A. and Elizabeth (Markel) Crouch, Uncle Kasey and Aunt Nancy. Survivors include his parents Richard and Barbara Crouch of Malvern, Iowa; siblings Diana Kay Crouch of Malvern, Iowa; Russell Lyle Crouch; Joel Daniel Crouch; niece Jayde Allyse Crouch all of Glenwood, Iowa; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives and friends.

Private Interment: Hillsdale Cemetery, rural Malvern, Iowa.

Memorial donations may be directed to: American Cancer Society or Glenwood Lake Park.

Rick was always such a fun loving and kind person. He will be missed by all who knew him and took care of him.

    Richard and Barb my heart is with you today. Sorry I can not be there. Gary will always hold a spot in my heart. So many times he made me laugh or drove me to distraction! I think it was his orneriness that bonded us. Remember laughter and good times!
