Ervin James Kuhl, 68 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away December 7, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born February 2, 1955 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Emory Monroe and Phyllis Darlene (Langston) Kuhl.

Ervin graduated from Glenwood High School in 1973. He was a truck driver for Fed Ex and Cintas. He also worked at the Swift Packing Plant. Some of his hobbies included coin collecting, listening to country music, antique tractors and he loved watching his grandkids play sports. He also liked to bet on the dogs and visit with people.

Preceding Ervin in passing were his parents and granddaughter Kathryn Weber-Kuhl.  Survivors include his children Danny (Candice) Kuhl of Glenwood, Iowa; Donna (Shawn O’Brien) Kuhl of Council Bluffs, Iowa; DeAnn Kuhl of Glenwood, Iowa; 6 grandchildren; Taylor, Dezirae, Jacquelyn, Shayla, Chloe and Ethan; 3 great-grandchildren; Brynlee, Layla and Waylon; brother Edwin (Vikki) Kuhl of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sister Patricia (Keith) Young of Pacific Junction, Iowa; numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be directed to: Glenwood Booster Club or the Glenwood Volunteer Fire Association.

    Many miles separated us as adults but I’ll always remember the fun we had as teenagers. I can only imagine the reunion you’ve had with your parents and that sweet granddaughter!

    Saddened to learn that EJ has passed away. Have known EJ since grade school in PJ. I have very fond memories of growing up together. He was one of my oldest friends and I will miss him. I am so sorry for his loss and deepest sympathy to his family.during this difficult time.
