Celebration of Life: Saturday, October 8, 2022, 11:00 A.M., Peterson Mortuary, 212 S. Locust Street, Glenwood, Iowa.

Denise Evans-Scott, 64 of Glenwood, Iowa formerly of Pacific Junction, Iowa was born November 25, 1957 in Pacific Junction to Russell and Selma (Wram) Evans. She passed away September 22, 2022 at her home in Glenwood.

Denise graduated from Glenwood High School in 1976. She began working at the Glenwood Resource Center as a resident treatment worker until her retirement.

In her spare time Denise enjoyed fishing playing cards and making crafts to share with family and friends. Preceding Denise in passing were her parents, brothers Dale Evans, David Evans, Donald Evans and Dennis Evans. Survivors include her siblings Delbert (Marilyn) Evans of Sussex, Wisconsin; Shirley Darlene Evans of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Darwin (Barbara) Evans of Aurelia, Iowa; Della Anglen of Omaha, Nebraska; Deanna (Kenneth) King of Glenwood, Iowa; Malinda Evans; Darrell Evans of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sisters-in-law Carol Evans and Della Mae Evans of Glenwood, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Interment: Martin Chapel Cemetery, Pacific Junction, Iowa.

Following interment at Martin Chapel Cemetery, the family invites you for lunch at the Zeum at Glenwood Lake Park, 24 Lake Drive, Glenwood, Iowa.

Memorial donations may be directed to Glenwood Volunteer Fire Association or Pacific Junction Fire Department.

    Oh Neesie I will always remember the holidays and birthdays spent with you and fighting over who was cheating at board games. You were a big part of my life growing up and I will never forget it. Even as an adult I always knew you were there. I love you and will hold my memories close. ❤️

    So sorry to hear of Denise’s passing. She was so much fun to be around. Known her since we were children in PJ. I’m sure she is telling all the others who have gone before her all our news.
