Charles Conrad “Chuck” Kruse

Visitation: Thursday, August 3, 2023, 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Peterson Mortuary, 212 S. Locust Street, Glenwood, Iowa.

Charles Conrad “Chuck” Kruse, 81 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away July 31, 2023 at his home. He was born June 20, 1942 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Conrad John and Genevieve Louiene (Sell) Kruse. He graduated from Malvern High School. Chuck was united in marriage to Etta Glenelle Dashner on September 29, 1963 in Glenwood, Iowa. To this union two sons were born, Aaron and Jerad.

Chuck farmed and was a truck driver. In 2007, he purchased a home on Lake of the Ozarks. He loved boating, water skiing and spending time with family and friends.

Preceding Chuck in passing were his parents and wife Glenelle. Survivors include his sons Aaron Kruse (Karen Brandenburg) of Pacific Junction, Iowa; Jerad (Michelle) Kruse of Versailles, Missouri; grandchildren Maegan (Jonathon) Jones and their daughter Kimber of Oak Harbor, Washington; Cassie (Meaghan) Kruse of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Gavin Kruse of Versailles, Missouri; brother Gerald (Deanna) Kruse of Silver City, Iowa; extended relatives and friends.

Private interment, Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.

Memorial donations may be directed to Silver City Fire & Rescue or Oak Township Volunteer Fire Department.

    Chuck was a Lifetime Friend as wee worked together at Roth and Glenwood Pack. Always enjoyed Chuck at the Bowling Alley and Cafe. Will always remember Chuck as He is now walking with the Good Lord in the Garden of Heaven.
