Arthur Oscar Gaetz, 86 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away on November 30, 2021 at Tabor Manor in Tabor, Iowa. He was born on December 22, 1934 in Leominster, Massachusetts to Arthur Oscar and Florence (Stephens) Sargent. He was united in marriage to Pamela Dee Hopkinson on January 5, 2021 in Tujunga, California. To this union two daughters were born, Tammy and Julinda.
Art was in the Naval Reserves with the City of Los Angeles until his retirement. He was a member of the Tabor V.F.W. and American Legion Post 141. He enjoyed bike riding and spending time with his family.
Preceding Art in passing were his parents, wife and brother Tom Gaetz. Survivors include his daughters Tammy (Jonathan) Brent of Glenwood, Iowa; Julinda (Daniel) Severn of Council Bluffs, Iowa; grandchildren Kristen, Clarissa, Kelsey and Kimberly; step-grandchildren Jonathan Brent, II, Chelsey, Christopher and Caleb; several great-grandchildren, siblings John and Lynda and good friend Walt Gregg, extended relatives and friends.
Interment to be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Art was a faithful member of our church and we know he is no longer suffering, but dancing with Jesus. We sang his favourite hymn, “Holy, Holy, Holy” in church this past Sunday to honor him. May the Lord provide you and yours comfort and care in the days and weeks to come.
