Deanna Jeanne (Pulsifer) Lincoln, 81, of Glenwood, Iowa went home to be with her Lord on May 15, 2025.
Jeanne was born on February 13, 1944 to Woodrow and Eunice (Shutts) Pulsifer. She graduated from Glenwood High School with the Class of 1962. On June 24, 1962 Jeanne was united in marriage to John Leon Lincoln in Glenwood and to this union two children were born, Julie Ann and James “Jim” Duane.
John and Jeanne raised their family on the family farm in Pacific Junction for years. Later she and John moved to town in Glenwood. Jeanne currently resided at Linnwood Estates Assisted Living with friends and staff she loved like family.
She supported her kids involvement in many activities whether it be serving as 4-H leader, sitting on the bleachers for track meets and band concerts and contests. Jeanne loved meeting her high school classmates for lunch on a regular basis. She always looked forward to Homecoming and class reunions.
Jeanne was known to bake large trays of treats to deliver at Christmas. She and John especially enjoyed hosting their annual 4th of July brunches for neighbors and many friends.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Glenwood for many years and later joined the First Christian Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Jeanne cherished her many friendships with those who, like herself, loved the Lord.
Preceding Jeanne in passing was her husband John; parents Woody and Eunice Pulsifer; parents-in-laws Shirley, Jr. and Erma Lincoln; sister Joyce (Don) Cashatt, Jackie (Jerry) Wright; brother Donald “Butch” Pulsifer; sister-in laws Mary Kay Lincoln and Nancy Lincoln.
