William A. “Bill” Hunt, 91 of Silver City, Iowa passed away on February 22, 2021 in Glenwood, Iowa. He was born August 13, 1929 in Mills County, Iowa to Richard Cecil and Evelyn Marie (Williams) Hunt.

Bill was raised in Silver City. He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Burgoin on December 18, 1949 in Silver City. To this union daughter Pamela was born. Bill was employed with Farm Service Company as a Propane Delivery Driver. He also farmed for many years. He was a member of the antique tractor club and Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed his tractor and loved mowing his yard. He mowed every four days whether it needed it or not. He enjoyed visiting each morning with his coffee group and loved family gatherings when everyone would get together.

Bill was preceded in passing by his parents and wife. Survivors include his daughter Pamela and husband Dale Sargent of Glenwood, Iowa; nephews Rod and wife Lori Hunt of Malvern, Iowa; Rex and wife Gloria Burgoin of Silver City, Iowa; nieces Sheila Hunt of Denver, Colorado; Peg and husband Dick Rupe of Pacific Junction, Iowa; extended relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Silver City Fire & Rescue or Silver City United Methodist Church.

Interment, Silver City Cemetery, Silver City, Iowa.

    Dear Pam and family, I was so very very sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. Bill always had a smile and a story to tell. I will always remember him at the reunions, surrounded by all the other men, telling their stories. Prayers for you in this difficult time.

    So sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. Always enjoyed seeing the whole family when you brought your lil darlin’s to be groomed. Your Dad was always smiling and was very humorous.
