Velda Marie Harris

Velda Marie Harris, 80 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away May 20, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born on January 13, 1942 in Platte Center, Nebraska to Richard Lee and Sadie Marie (Helmer) Curtis.

Velda was employed as a supervisor in Lacey Hall at the Glenwood Resource Center. She then went to work as a Child Support Recovery agent for the State of Iowa until her retirement. Velda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Preceding Velda in passing were her parents, husband Robert., sons Robert E. Harris, Jr. and Ricky Harris. Survivors include her son Joseph and wife Jacqueline Harris of Omaha, Nebraska; 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; sisters Judy and Sandra; extended relatives and friends.

Interment at a later date, Waubonsie Cemetery, rural Glenwood, Iowa.
