Timothy D. Taylor was the beloved husband of Jo Ellyn Taylor (Gregory); and loving father of Sarah Anne (Thomas) Hughes and James Edward (dear friend, Merissa Allen) Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth M. and Dale H. Taylor; brother, Gail H. Taylor; and godparents, Edward and Freda Taylor. He is also survived by his niece, Elizabeth (Conrad) Hansen, his in-laws, Leonard and Jetta Mae Gregory; and other extended family.
He was born June 27, 1948 in Omaha, NE and entered into eternal rest on Aug. 22, 2012 in Park Ridge, IL.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at the Friedrichs Funeral Home in Mount Prospect, IL. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Sat. Aug. 25, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mount Prospect. Interment will be held Mon. Aug. 27, 2012 in the Thurman Cemetery, Thurman, IA.

I am so sorry for your loss, I’m still devastated.
Timothy was a good, respectful, kind hearted man who will be missed by many, including myself. His family has my heart-felt condolences and prayers.
I will truly miss sharing with him in our common pursuit of all things Dr. James Newton Matthews, for which he had such a infectious passion.
