Tamela “Tammy” Elaine (Ball) Oswald, 63 of Silver City, Iowa formerly of Pacific Junction, Iowa passed away May 20, 2022 at Glen Haven Village in Glenwood, Iowa. She was born on March 21, 1959 in Hamburg, Iowa to Floyd “Bill” and Donna Ball. Tammy was raised in Barlett, Iowa and graduated from Fremont Mills High School. She was united in marriage on October 20, 1979 in Pacific Junction, Iowa to William Arthur Oswald. To this union two children were born, Aggie and Travis.

Tammy worked at the Glenwood Resource Center as a Resident Treatment Worker. She loved going to the casino, sitting out on the porch and visiting with friends. Her dog Cocoa was very special to her.

Preceding Tammy in passing were her parents, husband and sister Belinda Heiman. Survivors include her children Aggie and husband Todd Schoening and their children Tanner Schoening and Layla Schoening all of Mapleton, Iowa; Travis Oswald of Silver City, Iowa; brother Allen and wife Jackie Ball of Glenwood, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Interment, Martin Chapel Cemetery, rural Pacific Junction, Iowa.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Martin Chapel Cemetery Association.

    I’m so very sorry for your loss!! Tammy and I went to high school together, spent a lot of those years as good friends then drifted apart. I have wonderful memories and a sadden heart.

      Of all the few things my mom told me about her growing up, she spoke of you often. She enjoyed the catching up you both had awhile ago.
