Sharon Lee (Hunter) Anglen, 71, of Glenwood, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on Dec. 31, 2008 in Glenwood. She was born December 14, 1937 in Glenwood, Iowa to John and Avis (Hammer) Hunter.
She was united in marriage to Samuel Levi Anglen Sr. on June 30, 1955 in Pacific Junction, Iowa. To this union three sons were born, Randy, Samuel and Richard. Sharon loved raising her family and through the years made each of them beautiful handmade quilts. She enjoyed embroidering and watching Nascar on television. Sharon had been employed at Bluff View and later worked at the Ameristar Casino.
Preceding Sharon in death were her parents, husband Sam in 1989 and son Richard in 2007. She is survived by her sons Randy and wife Deb Anglen of Glenwood, Iowa and their children, Tony Anglen and Amber Stidd and their children, Megan and Triniti of Tabor, Iowa; Cory Anglen and Tammie McEvoy of Glenwood, Iowa; Samuel Levi Anglen, Jr. and wife Carla of Glenwood, Iowa and their children, Honey and husband Caleb Wear and their children Austin and Connor Wear of Sioux City, Iowa; Casey Meredith of Sioux City, Iowa; brothers, Warren and wife Peggy Hunter of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Darrell and wife Earla Hunter of South Dakota; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives, canine companion, Little Bit and a host of friends.
