Ronny Lee Stouder, 83 of Filmore, Missouri passed away March 16, 2026 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was oldest child born to Fay and Therlene Stouder on December 4, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska. He spent his early years helping on the farm in the Bartlett and Pacific Junction area where the family resided.
Ronny graduated from Glenwood Community High School with Class of 1960. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He faithfully served his country for seven years. Ronny returned to the family farm before he chased a few dreams and finally settled in Ohio where he was an avid outdoorsman. In his later years he moved back to Southwest Iowa and Northwest Missouri to continue his passion of hunting , taking fishing trips, golfing and training horses and Labradors. Ronny said laying in a cornfield with a flock of snow geese flying above him was his description of a perfect day!
Preceding Ronny in passing were his parents. Survivors include his significant other of over 15 years, Juanita Steeby; children Clinton (Kimberly) Stouder; Austin (Laura) Stouder; brother Wayne (Linda) Stouder; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial donations have been designated to: Southwest Iowa Sportsman’s Club or Delta Waterfowl.
