Rev. Oran Miller, 79 of Glenwood, IA formerly of Toto, Indiana entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2013 at Glen Haven Home in Glenwood. He was born May 25, 1934 in Knott County, KY to Arzanious & Laura (Stacy) Miller.
Oran faithfully served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Helen Jean Fletcher on July 27, 1957 in Knott, IN. To this union two children were born, Pamela Sue and Johnny Ray. Oran was a carpenter and union worker and went on to become a pastor serving many churches throughout the years. He was a faithful steward to his family, faith and friends.
Preceding Oran in death were his parents. He is survived by his wife, Helen Miller of Plymouth, IN formerly of Toto, IN; children, Pamela Sue & husband Roy Crouch of Glenwood, IA; Johnny Ray Miller of Oil Trough, AR; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings; Homer Miller of La Port, IN; Pherbia Stephens of Lawrenceburg, TN; French Miller of Dothan AL; William Miller of Knox, IN; Dulcena Tessner of Dothan, AL; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
