Rachel Naomi Carlile, 104 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away January 8, 2025 at Glen Haven Village. She was born November 23, 1920 in Rural Glenwood, Iowa to George Emory and Lillie Lila (Timmerman) Swinney.

Rachel was united in marriage to William “Bill” R. Carlile on April 1, 1945 in Glenwood, Iowa. She was employed at Glenwood State Bank in the accounting department. Rachel enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.      

Preceding Rachel in passing were her parents, husband, sister Pauline Craig, brother George Lee Swinney, nephew Mack and wife Leesa Craig. Survivors include nieces and nephews.
