Norma B. “Polly” Haynie, 80, of Glenwood, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2011 at Tabor Manor in Tabor, Iowa. She was born May 29, 1930 in Malvern, Iowa to Lloyd Benjamin & Beatrice Susannah (Smith) Wilson.

Polly was raised around Malvern and Strahan and resided in rural Glenwood for over 45 years. She was a homemaker to her sons, Larry and Timothy and enjoyed sewing and cooking. Polly later became a part-time employee at Caseys. She was a member of the Waubonsie Church and enjoyed volunteering at the Mills County Storehouse.

Preceding Polly in death were her parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and infant granddaughter, Shannelle Dee Haynie. She is survived by her sons, Larry & wife Cheryl Haynie of Stanton, Iowa; Timothy & wife Deborah Haynie of Shenandoah, Iowa; 4 grandsons, 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred & husband Harry Conrad of Red Oak, Iowa; extended relatives and many friends.
