My heart is broken, so sad to hear Sue has passed away. She was such a special person and so fun to be around before her illness slowly took her away from her friends and family. I remember a few years back, going to give blood and she was dressed in her dads uniform from WW2! She always had a big hug for me and we would talk about our kids and grandkids. The class of 69 has lost one of our best 😪.

So sorry to hear of Sue’s passing. Sue and Burl lived right across the road from my mom and dad for as far back as I can remember. Sue was always there to lend a hand. My parent’s dog passed away years ago and they were too distraught to dig a hole to bury him. I called Sue and asked if someone from the shop down there could come up sometime to help my husband dig a hole. She was eating when I called but literally 2 minutes later she showed up with 3 shovels. My husband and her (mostly her 😉) dog the hole and buried the dog. Sue was a very generous, hard working, funny, caring, and strong woman. And the world truly was better with her in it.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Sue, whose family was my grandparents neighbors, so she helped me develop my love for horses. She was what I wanted to be like growing up..having lots of friends and always a big smile…every time I saw her I still felt like that, because she was always Sue. Rest in peace Sue, the hard work is over now.

Sue was a compassionate friend, classmate, and fellow farm girl. She was always the light of our class reunions. The last time I visited her, she didn’t really know who I was, but as I was leaving, she grabbed my arm and said, “It is wonderful to have close friends.” LinDee was with me and I held back the tears then … not now. Rest in Peace Sue until we meet again.
