Mary Ann (Brown) Gregory, 90 of Glenwood, Iowa entered into eternal rest on October 20, 2025 at Glen Haven Village. She was born on September 25, 1935 in Iowa City, Iowa to William Christ and Icel Fern (Johnson) Brown.

Mary Ann was raised in Cedar Rapids and attended Tarkio College where she met the love of her life. She was united in marriage to John Alvin Gregory on December 26, 1955 in Cedar Rapids. To this union three children were born; John, Jennifer and Nick.

John and Mary Ann were employed with the Glenwood Community School System until their retirement. They were faithful members of Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, raising a garden and flowers. Mary Ann loved her family, especially her grandchildren and her cats along with other animals. She was a kind and caring person and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Mary Ann in passing were her parents, husband, daughter Jennifer Williams, sisters Janet Thune and Joy Kane. Survivors include her sons John (Shari) Gregory of Glenwood, Iowa; Nick (Lori) Gregory of Eaton, Colorado; son-in-law Jon P. Williams of Neola, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; Brad (Lisa), Breanna (Tyler), Shaila (Travis), Jordan (Ben), Jon C. (Amanda), Nicholas and Josh. 9 Great-Grandchildren; Maylee, Madden, Colby, Caiden, Lydia, Luca, Lucy, Kaiya and Denver; brother William “Bill” Brown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister Wilma Clary of Kansas; extended relatives and friends.

Interment, Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.

Memorial donations have been designated to Grace United Methodist Church.

    So very sorry to read this. I would visit her when I went to Glen Haven to see Cheryl McManigal. She was always kind to everyone that lived there and welcomed all that came to visit. My condolences.
