Lindsay Autumn Chase

Lindsay Chase, 40 of Glenwood, Iowa, formerly of Ozark, Missouri, passed away July 2, 2021. She was born February 13, 1981 to Scott and Jean Mather in Lander, Wyoming. On July 27, 2012, she was united in marriage to Derik Chase and to this union 2 children were born; Alana Jean and Grant Jackson.

Lindsay had an extremely strong work ethic. She was a Registered Dental Assistant and Hygienist in the Ozarks, working in the clinical setting and also teaching. She touched many classmates, colleagues, students and patients’ lives. Lindsay’s real passion was family. Her and the love of her life, Derik mad a beautiful life together. They lived in Springfield, Missouri with their amazing children and in her last years moved to Glenwood, Iowa.

Lindsay enjoyed the simple things in life, loved to laugh, had such a passion for life, didn’t sweat the small stuff and had a hilarious sarcastic sense of humor. Lindsay was passionate in her faith. She found strength in her love for Jesus, showing bravery that was inspiring. Her family loved her so much and she will be missed tremendously. She was loved by so many.

Lindsay was preceded in death by her father Scott Allen Mather and a brother Dustin Scott Mather.

Lindsay is survived by her husband Derik Chase, daughter Alana Jean, son Grant Jackson, mother Jean Mather, grandmother Edith Smith, her brother Spencer Mather and his wife Stephanie (children Nixon and Stella), brother Ethan Mather and his wife Miriam (children Jessa And Rhett) along with her mother-in-law Tara Gower and her husband Allen, brother-in-law Greg Jeffery and his wife Lori (children Noah and Hannah), sister-in-law Brittney Jeffrey and her daughter Bristol and many friends.

Interment to be held at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

    Derik, Alana and Grant – We are saddened to hear that Lindsay passed. From the brief conversations we’ve had with Lindsay this past year of Covid, I could tell she was an extremely caring, loving person as well as a fantastic mother. You and your family will be in our prayers.
