Lee Warren Wilcox, 82, of Glenwood, Iowa entered into eternal rest on March 30, 2007 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was born Jan. 27, 1925 to Henry Bertrand “Bert” & Cecil Effidel (Anderson) Wilcox in Glenwood, Iowa. Lee Warren graduated from Glenwood High School in 1944 and faithfully served in the Army during WWII following graduation. He was united in marriage to Virginia May Kemp on Febr. 3 1946 in Glenwood, Iowa. To this union three daughters were born, Jolene, Iola and Shari.

Lee Warren was a self-employed grain dealer in the trucking business for many years. He was active in Glenwood Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Glenwood American Legion Post 141, Band Parents, Men’s Bowling League and was a member of Glenwood Community Church.

Preceding Lee Warren in death were his parents, sisters, infant Julene Wilcox & Beulah Clark, brothers, Elmo Wilcox, Blaine Wilcox, & Laval Wilcox. He is survived by his wife Virginia Wilcox of Glenwood, IA: daughters, Jolene & husband John Justus of Kansas City, MO; Iola Strand & Kevin Lawrence of Blaire, NE; Shari Brisbois of Omaha, NE; 5 grandchildren; Jennifer Techau, Mandy Whitsitt, Ryan Strand, Angela Ferris & Leah Brisbois; 4 great-grandchildren; Dylan Ferris, Kaileen Ferris, Marian Techau Parker, Julia Techau Parker; sister, Darlene & husband Melvin Durkee of Gilbert, AZ; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
