Larry Allen Porter, 70 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on January 15, 2022. He was born October 8, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska to Maurice Leo and Gladys Naomi (Miller) Porter.
Larry was united in marriage to Beth Elaine Jacobson on June 24, 1972 in Glenwood, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Lisa and Larry Don. Larry was employed with Strand Construction and Andersen Construction. He was a hard and dedicated employee as well as talented at what he did. He was in the National Guard for many years.
Preceding Larry in passing were his parents, brother Kenny and wife Linda Porter and sister Joyce Konfrst. Survivors include is loving wife Beth Porter of Glenwood, Iowa; Lisa Porter of Red Oak, Iowa; Larry Don Porter of Glenwood, Iowa; 3 grandchildren Devin, Skyler and Alice.
No services are planned.
Interment to be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
