James Allen Wells, Jr., 74 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away August 28, 2025 at his home in Glenwood. He was born September 8, 1950 in Malvern, Iowa to James Allen, Sr. and Mildred Marie (Brown) Wells.
James was formerly employed with the Opinion Tribune in the Publication Department. He faithfully served his country in the Army from 1968-1972.
Preceding James in passing were his parents, sister Jeanette Parker and brother Thomas Wells. Survivors include his siblings Beatrice Ahrens of Hastings, Iowa; June Maddocks of Glenwood, Iowa; George Wells of California; David Wells of Colorado, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Memorial fund is being established.
