Edward Alan Anglen, Sr., 69, of Pacific Junction, IA, entered into eternal rest on Oct. 22, 2011 in Council Bluffs, IA. He was born May 31, 1942 in Marshall, MO to Ollie “Pete” & Jesse Bernice (Hellums) Anglen.

Ed was united in marriage to Judy Wright on Nov. 7, 1968. To this union two sons were born, Edward, Jr. and Dustin. In Ed’s earlier years, he loved to go fishing. After purchasing their home in Pacific Junction, he took great pride in taking care of his yard and garden. He had a green thumb and could make anything grow. Ed was employed with the railroad and later worked at the Glenwood Resource Center until his retirement in 2004. He was a former Pacific Junction City Council Member, Volunteer Fire Fighter for Pacific Junction for 25 years & attended the First Congregational U.C.C.

Preceding Ed in death were his parents. He is survived by his wife, Judy Anglen of Pacific Junction, IA; sons, Edward Anglen, Jr. of Glenwood, IA; Dustin Anglen of Pacific Junction, IA; granddaughters, Kaitlyn & Jessica Anglen; grandson, Colton Krewson; brothers, Jerry Anglen of AZ; Walter Anglen of Glenwood, IA; Ralph Anglen of Malvern, IA; sisters, Doris Wilson of Council Bluffs, IA: Margaret Baucom of Pacific Junction, IA; Phyllis Lundvall of Springfield, MO; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
