Edgar James Flora, Jr. 62 of Tabor, Iowa formerly of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on December 27, 2021 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was born June 19, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska to Edgar James Flora, Sr. and Frances Leah (Ray) Flora.
Edgar was united in marriage to Diane Lynn Gustafson on November 11, 1977 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was employed as an operator for a chemical plant until his retirement.
Preceding Edgar in passing were his parents, infant son Rodney Flora and siblings Clyde Flora and Linda Shook. Survivors include his wife Diane Flora of Tabor, Iowa; children Tonia (Lucas) Dinklage of Tabor, Iowa; Brenda (Tim) Wisnieski of Omaha, Nebraska; Susan Flora (Jonathan Schoening) of Glenwood, Iowa; Jamie Flora (Andrew Cowan) of Sidney, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; siblings, Wayne (Mary) Flora of Blair, Nebraska; Donna (Randy) Davis of West Point, Nebraska; Joyce (Rick) Wojtkiewicz of Omaha, Nebraska; Carol (Jerry) Nath of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; Rhonda (Monte) Morast of Malvern, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life services are planned for a later date.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family.

Sorry to hear about Jim
I remember our rides on the rangers and having a beer or two. Jim was a wonderful man and a great family.man. He loved his girls and grandkids.

Sorry to hear about Jim. I will always remember working with him at the salvage yard. A great guy and taught me a lot of what I know today in that business!!! You will be missed my friend!!!

There’s so many things I could say about this man, A loving father, grandfather, friend and husband. I could of never asked for a better father, role model.. You will forever be missed. I will alwaya miss the “I love you sis” and your hugs and kissing your head. You always stood by my side through the wrongs and the rights and never gave up on me. I love you so much daddy and will always hold you dear in my heart. No words can ever say how much you mean to me.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Now he’s not suffering anymore. He’s up there with Uncle Ed an Aunt Francis an Grandma Hazel an everyone else. We will see him again. Sending lots of love
