Donald Lee Roker, 49 of Council Bluffs, IA formerly of Claytonia, NE and Glenwood, IA entered into rest on April 6, 2006 in Glenwood, IA. He was born May 11, 1956 in Beatrice, NE to Myron & Viola (Menninga) Roker. He was raised in Claytonia, moving to Glenwood in 1971 and graduated from Glenwood High School in 1974. He has two daughters, Melody and Heidi with Wanda (Parker) Seitz.
Don was a dedicated and hardworking employee as a fuel tech foreman for 16 years and was currently an I & E apprentice tech with Mid-American Energy. He loved going on cruises and spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved being with his grandchildren. He enjoyed motorcycles, corvettes and purchasing homes to refurbish and sell.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Surviving Don are his daughters, Melody & husband Chris Spence of Ralston, NE: Heidi & husband Zach Ahrens of Woodbine, IA; grandchildren, Peyton Spencer of Ralston and Carter Ahrens of Woodbine; parents, Myron & Viola (Menninga) Roker of Glenwood, IA; siblings, Bill & Pam Roker of Nebraska City, NE; Bob Roker of Little Rock, AR; Marlene & Larry Turner of Pacific Junction, IA; Dennis & Teena Roker of Glenwood, IA; Shari & Bob Brown of Glenwood, IA; Kelly Roker of Glenwood, IA; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
