Dean Carl Lincoln was born on February 15, 1926 on the family farm west of Pacific Junction. He was the youngest of four children born to Roy Cuthbert and Allie May (Honeywell) Lincoln. Dean grew up working on the farm and attended the Bethlehem Country School. Following graduation from the eighth grade, he went to the Pacific Junction High School where he played basketball and saxophone in the band. He graduated with the Class of 1943.
Following graduation, he went on a blind date and met Margaret Graalfs. Their relationship blossomed and they were united in marriage on June 16, 1946. To this union three sons were born; Larry, Dennis and Mark.
Dean and Margaret lived and farmed on the family farm for sixty years. In 2006, they retired and moved to Glenwood. They were lifetime members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood.
Dean was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Margaret, three siblings, Florence Lincoln, Lawrence Lincoln, Rose Carlson and grandson Matthew Dean Lincoln.
Survivors include sons; Larry (Karen) Lincoln, Dennis (Susan) Lincoln, Mark (Nancy) Lincoln; grandchildren; Clay (Heather) Lincoln, Amy (Charles) Larsen, Alan (Jessica) Lincoln, Nick (Whitney) Lincoln, Jill (Tyler) Shugart and Nate Lincoln; great-grandchildren, Preston, Collin, Hallee, Abigail, Grayson, Landon, Emma, Lincoln, Sydney and Caleb; nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Interment, Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.
Memorial donations have been designated to: Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenwood, Iowa.

Peace be with you Luncoln family as you celebrate Dean’s well lived life and know he rests in his Savior’s arms.
I was sorry to hear this, Larry. Even a long life seems like not quite enough at the end.
Larry, Dennis, Mark, and families so sorry to hear of Uncle Deans passing. Mom so enjoyed talking with him. Many memories from the Lincoln Reunion and the hay loft at the farm. He had a great iife.
