What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch.

We may not understand why Darrell left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived.

And that his life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Sherry and Family, We had some really good associations nearly 40 years ago when I was a chaplain at Immanuel. I officiated at 2 of your daughter’s weddings and have thought of you and Darrell often during the years. Life takes us a long way. Darrell was such a a good-natured guy. I am sorry to know of his passing. May the Lord bless and keep you all. I surely value the fond remembrance.
