Darlene Loreta (Fisher) Dennis, 87, of Omaha, Nebraska formerly of Pacific Junction, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2010 in Omaha. She was born April 13, 1922 in Platteville Township, Mills County, Iowa to John Caleb & Bessie Margaret (Pearson) Fisher. She resided in Pacific Junction and was employed with Northwestern Bell until her retirement. She was united in marriage to Harold Wayne Dennis on March 18, 1968 in Omaha, Nebraska where they made their home. Wayne and Darlene loved traveling all over the country even as far as Alaska in their motor home. She also enjoyed being with her extended family and was fortunate to watch her nieces and nephews grow up and later was involved in helping with their children.
Preceding Darlene in death were her parents and husband. She is survived by her sisters, Elaine Dusenberry of Lincoln, Nebraska; Karen & husband Fred Braun of Elkhorn, Nebraska; nephews, Jeff & wife Sue Braun & family, Mitchell and Natalie; Michael & wife Marie Braun & family, Bernadette, Jonathon & Anthony of Torrance, California; niece, Kristin & husband Rob McCarville & family, Michael, Jonathon and William of Elkhorn, Nebraska; great-niece, Lisa & husband George Hayes & daughter, Elizabeth and a host of friends.
