Christopher Patrick Schoening, 42 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away at home on August 6, 2025. He was born to Evan Patrick and Karen Yvonne (Simmons) Schoening on July 31, 1983 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Chris had worked in the Maintenance Mechanical field. He was a talented welder, loved building models, playing games and mushroom hunting.
Preceding Chris in passing were his grandparents and father. Survivors include his mother Karen Schoening of Glenwood, Iowa; children; Logan Schoening and fiancée Sadie of Des Moines, Iowa; Grace Schoening of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sister Stepanie and James Davis of Virginia; brother Jon (Susan) Schoening of Glenwood, Iowa; nieces, nephew, extended relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
