Annie Bell (Lawson) Ratcliffe, 75 of Pacific Junction, Iowa entered into rest on October 28, 2015 at Hospice With Heart in Glenwood, Iowa. She was born on January 5, 1940 in McCloud, Oklahoma to Walter Jackson and Jewel Irene (Whitecotton) Lawson. Annie was united in marriage to Robert James “Jim” Ratcliffe on March 1, 1969 in Odessa, Texas. Together they raised their 8 children. They resided in Oklahoma and Texas before moving to rural Pacific Junction, Iowa in 2005.
Annie loved gardening, canning, reading, cooking, Bible study and teaching her children good values and principles of living a good life. She was kind and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding Annie in passing were her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her loving husband, Robert James “Jim” Ratcliffe of Pacific Junction, Iowa; children, Robert James (Georgia) Ratcliffe of Texas; Rebecca Jones of Texas; Tony (Judy) Rimer of Texas; Anda Kay Wynn of Texas; Gordon (Angie) Rimer of Texas; Kevin (Darlene) Rimer of Nebraska; Latricia (Scott) Wilkerson of Missouri; Penney Evans of Minnesota; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 7 sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
Interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.
