Willard C. (Bounce) Hindman, 84, of Glenwood, IA entered into eternal rest on Dec. 7, 2006 in Council Bluffs, IA. He was born April 8, 1922 in Fremont County to Meredith & Jenettie Iona (Bachler) Hindman.

Bounce was united in marriage to Betty Bernice Yates on May 10, 1947 in Hiawatha, KS. To this union five children were born, Pat, Dale, Randy, Pam and Carla. Bounce faithfully served his country during WWII in the Army. He was employed by Mills County, Cudahay Packing House, was self-employed in the refrigeration business, farming and was assistant manager of the Glenwood Water Dept. Bounce was a member of the First Christian Church in Glenwood, American Legion Post 141, Eagles in Plattsmouth, and V.F.W. He and Betty loved to fish together and took many trips to Branson, where they would fish off of the banks of Lake Tanycomo. His hobbies also included woodworking, playing cards, horseshoes and square dancing.

Preceding Bounce in death were his parents, son Dale Ray Hindman, two brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his wife Betty Hindman of Glenwood, IA; children, Pat & husband Jack McManigal of Glenwood, IA; Randy & wife Pat Hindman of Villisca, IA; Pam & husband Dick Stipe of Glenwood, IA; Carla & husband Bob Bolter of Omaha, NE; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sisters, Arvella Bacon of Glenwood, IA; Darlene Hooper of Council Bluffs, IA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
