Phyllis E. Narron, 83, of Glenwood, Iowa entered into eternal rest on April 26, 2010 at Linnwood Estates in Glenwood, Iowa. She was born June 4, 1926 in Coin, Iowa to Marrel H. & Pearl K. (Trullinger) Snyder. Phyllis graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1944. She was united in marriage to Curtis Narron on August 9, 1946 in Hiawatha, Kansas. The couple were blessed with three children, Roger, Pat and Bill.

Phyllis was retired from the Glenwood Resource Center as a supervisor. She did extensive volunteer work for the Glenwood Senior Center and Mills County Historical Society where she received the Emeritus Honor Award. She received an award from the Governor of Iowa for all of her many years of volunteering. Phyllis attended the First Christian Church for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Club. Her family would like to personally thank the Linnwood Estate Staff and Hospice With Heart for all they did for her these past few months.

Preceding Phyllis in death were her parents, Marrel and Pearl; husband, Curt; granddaughter, Dionne; brothers Robert and Lee Snyder. She is survived by her children, Roger Narron of Corona, California; Pat & husband Gary Shepard; Bill & Rita Narron;all of Glenwood, Iowa; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Clara Myers of Glenwood, Iowa; brother, Alton & wife Shirley Snyder of Red Oak, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a host of friends.
