Penelope L. “Penny” Fisher, 65, of Glenwood, Iowa, formerly of Omaha, passed away on Oct. 15, 2005 at her home in Glenwood. She was born Jan. 4, 1940 in Anderson, Indiana to Clyde & Goldie Maxine (Johnson) Hopkinson. She was united in marriage to Edward L. Fisher on April 18, 1985 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Penny was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Glenwood and was a retired administrative assistant for Davis Design. She enjoyed gardening, reading and loved horses.
Penny was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Ed of Glenwood, IA; son, Jon & wife Sandra Jacobs of North Port, Florida; Debra & husband Michael Gardner of Omaha, NE; 6 grandchildren, Shasta, Syndal, Tony, Cassandra, Joshua, and Noah; sisters, Pamela & husband Arthur Gaetz of Glenwood, IA; Priscella Schlachter of Grand Island, NE; several nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.
