Lyle Pierce, Jr., 32, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, formerly of Glenwood, Iowa, entered into eternal rest at his home in Plattsmouth. He was born August 27, 1976 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Lyle Pierce, Sr. and Mary Elaine (Bennett) Pierce.
Lyle graduated from Glenwood High School in 1994. He was united in marriage to Candice Marie Meyers on September 21, 2002 in Glenwood, Iowa. Although married for just 6 years, they’ve been together for 10 years. Lyle loved being outside and playing with his children, Marcus, Shayla and Chloe. On the weekends, Lyle enjoyed going over to his dad’s house to watch football. His favorite team was the Green Bay Packers. Lyle also loved wrestling. He was employed with Roberts Dairy and was a hard worker. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Candice Pierce and children, Marcus Pierce, Shayla Pierce, and Chloe Pierce all of Plattsmouth, NE; parents, Lyle Pierce, Sr. and Mary Pierce both of Plattsmouth, NE; brothers and sisters, Tammy and husband Bob Norman of Bellevue, NE; Phil Pierce of Plattsmouth, NE; Kim & husband Ty Morris of Nehawka, NE; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a host of friends.
