Lois R. (Strand) Deitchler, 87 of Glenwood, Iowa entered into rest on May 6, 2018 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was the youngest of seven children born on August 19, 1930 in Battle Creek, Nebraska to Randers B. and Beulah (Clemensen) Strand.
In March of 1936, her family moved to Glenwood, Iowa, where her father had purchased the local creamery. As she grew older, Lois and her siblings worked in the family business.
Lois was united in marriage to Harold Deitchler. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood.
Preceding Lois in passing were her parents, husband, siblings, Harold Strand, Donald Strand, Raymond Strand, Lowell Strand and Mildred Hardy. Survivors include her brother, Randers Strand of Glenwood, Iowa; special caregivers, nephew, Jim Strand; niece, Joyce Howrey both of Glenwood, Iowa; numerous other nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenwood, Iowa.
