Kristopher M. Young, 35 of Glenwood, Iowa formerly of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away May 1, 2019 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born February 1, 1984 in Omaha, Nebraska to Randy Wayne Young and Debbie Lynn Drummy.
Kris was raised by his grandparents Larry and Betty Cook in Glenwood, Iowa. He was a caring and loving person and thought of his cousin’s children as his own. He increased his family size by making his friends his brothers. Kris was a talented artist and an animal lover. He was taken too early in life from those who loved him.
Kris was preceded in passing by his father Randy Young. Survivors include his grandparents Betty and Larry Cook; grandfather Jim Espinosa, Sr.; mother Debbie Drummy; brothers Brian and Kenny Hartwell; sister Erica; step-father Eric Hartwell; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Interment at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to the family.

My nephew Kris brought me many smiles as a baby and toddler. I moved away when he was very young and im so sorry I didn’t get to know him as a man. Rest in Peace Christopher. Praying for our family.
