Carl Allen Tackett, 58 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away at his home on August 13, 2019. He was born November 20, 1960 in Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey to Walter Allen and Helen Mae (Walker) Tackett.
Carl graduated from Glenwood High School in 1979. He began working for the Glenwood Resource Center and recently retired after 40 years of dedication. Carl was an avid reader and loved history and sports.
Preceding Carl in passing were his parents. Survivors include his brother Matt and wife Charlene Tackett of Pacific Junction, Iowa; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives and friends.
Private interment, Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.

I am so sorry about Carl. I know him enough to say high and chat with him for a few minutes. Thoughts and prayers for his family.
Carl was a hard worker. I always liked and respected him.
